Description

The described adaptation to woodworking machines for gripping, loading and centering the workpieces is intended for cutting the skins into ski blanks.

The device is made in the form of two crank levers, mounted on a common rotary shaft. Sliders with claws to grip workpieces receiving movement from the rods of the working cylinders are mounted on each lever.

In order to improve the accuracy of the centering of the workpiece, the synchronism and uniformity of movement of the sliders was made; with the help of two-piston cylinder shafts and rails, which are pivotally connected at one end with the corresponding slider, and at the other with a link that slides along the axis fixed to the crankshaft.

Hydraulic cylinders fixed to the foundation were used to move the device for loading. The rods of their joint are pivotally connected to the crank levers.

Two crank levers 1 are fastened to a rotary shaft 2 mounted in bearings 3. On levers 1, slides 4 are planted with clawed pliers to grip a rim 5, sawn into ski blanks. The slides 4 are interconnected by strips 6, which are connected by hinges with one end to a link 7, which slides along axis 8, which is fixed to the crankshaft. The other ends of the rails 6 are hingedly connected to the brushes 9 and W of double-hydraulic hydraulic cylinders 1.

When moving one slider with a tong, the other slider simultaneously moves in the opposite direction to an equal distance.

In the horizontal position, the cranks levers / claws 4 with claws are moved apart to receive and clamp the shear dropped from the rack. After lifting the shear and placing it in the centers of the woodworking machine, the double piston cylinders switch to unclamping the tongs, the freewheel is released and the levers / take up a horizontal position again to raise the next edge.

The use of the device provides the possibility of servicing the machine by one person, will improve the quality of work and productivity.
