0,005-0,0032.Bp 1 1 The invention relates to non-ferrous metallurgy, in particular to methods for purifying technical selenium. The sulfite-cyclic method for purification of selenium from metallic impurities by dissolving selenium in sodium sulfite during heating and crystallizing it during cooling is known. The disadvantage of this method is the impossibility of deep purification of selenium from mercury and sulfur. The closest to the proposed technical essence and the achieved effect is the method of purification of technical selenium from metal impurities by fusing it with. ammonium nitrate at 200-230 ° C, followed by the separation of hydrochloric acid slag. The consumption of ammonium nitrate is 10-30% by weight of selenium C2. A disadvantage of the known method is low purification of selenium from impurities of mercury (mercury content 0.05 wt.%). The purpose of the invention is to increase the degree of purification of selenium from mercury. This goal is achieved by the fact that according to the method of cleaning technical selenium from metallic impurities by fusing it with ammonium nitrate at 200-230 ° C, the process is carried out in the presence of ammonium chloride, in an amount of 1-10% by weight of selenium. With the addition of ammonium chloride less than 1%, the required degree of purification of selenium from mercury is not achieved (residual Hg content is 0.05-0.008%). Addition of ammonium chloride more than 10% purification efficiency is increased slightly, however, the output of selenium is reduced (97% ). The method is carried out as follows. Technical selenium containing 0.01-0.5% mercury is mixed with 1030% ammonium nitrate and 1-10% ammonium chloride. The mixture is heated to 200-230 ° C and held for 1030 minutes. Selenium is separated from the slag by liquidation or by treatment with hydrochloric acid. The mercury content in the target product is 0.0050, 0036%, Example 1.30g of technical selenium, containing,%: Se 96.8; Fe 0.016; Ci 0.01; Pb 0.005; Hg 0.08; Te 0.32; As 0.031; S 0,46, mixed with 3-9 g of ammonium nitrate and 0-4.5 g of ammonium chloride. The mixture was melted in a stainless steel crucible at 200-230 ° C for 15 minutes. The melt is cooled and leached with 10 ml of diluted (1 :.)) hydrochloric acid. Selenium is separated and dried. In tab. Figure 1 presents data on the effect of the addition of ammonium chloride on the purification of selenium from mercury. As can be seen from the above data, without ammonium chloride (samples 4 and 5), selenium is practically not purified from mercury. The optimal amount of ammonium chloride additives is 1-10% by weight of selenium. Example 2. 30 g of technical selenium, as in example 1, are mixed with 6 g of nitrate and 1.5 g of ammonium chloride and fused under the same conditions as in example 1, for different times - from 5 to 60 minutes 1 Take a sample of selenium 1 in example 1, sample 2 with a selenium content of 97.6, iron 0.008, copper 0.07, lead 0.004, mercury 0.03, tellurium 0.1, M1.111b ka 0.02, sulfur 0, 12%; Sample 3 with selenium content 97.0, iron 0.005, copper 0.03, lead 0.009, tellurium 0.1, mercury 0.5, mouse 0.03, sulfur 0.1%. In tab. 2 presents data on the effect of melting time on the purification of selenium and its yield. As can be seen from the data in Table 2, the optimal melting time is 10-30 minutes. Thus, the proposed method, in comparison with the known, allows reducing the content of mercury and technical selenium to 0.005-0.0032.
