The invention relates to a machine tool industry, in particular to hydraulic guides of metal cutting machines operating at high dynamic loads. A hydrostatic support is known, which contains a movable element and a fixed one, on the surface of which carrier pockets are made, communicating through chokes with the power supply system and limited by end bridges, on which grooves are connected to the drain line lj. However, in this support, with a decrease in the gap and an increase in the viscosity of the working medium, frictional losses increase in thermal and thermal strains. Known support has a low dynamic stiffness. The purpose of the invention is to increase the dynamic stiffness by increasing the pressure in the carrying pockets while simultaneously increasing the effective damping area. This goal is achieved by the fact that the hydrostatic support, containing a movable element and a stationary one, on the surface of which carriers are made, pockets communicating through the cable, sat down with the power supply system and limited by end bridges, on which the grooves communicated with the drain line, are fitted with an adjustable choke mounted in the line mer .. 042 In FIG. 1: the proposed hydrostatic bearing, a cross-section, is shown; FIG. 2 is a top view of a stationary element. Hydrostatic bearing includes movable 1 and fixed 2 elements. On the working surface of the stationary 2 elements, there are made pockets 3, communicating through chokes 4 with the power supply system and limited by end bridges 5. On the front jumpers 5 there are grooves 6 connected to the discharge line 7 through an adjustable choke 8. The proposed support works as follows. The working medium from the power system through the choke 4 enters the carrier pocket 3. From the pocket part of the working medium enters the groove 6 and goes to drain through the adjustable choke 8, and the other part of the medium goes to drain through jumpers 5, creating an additional damping layer. By changing the resistance of the adjustable throttle 8, you can adjust the ratio of these flows and thereby change the pressure in the carrying pocket. Due to this hydrostatic support, dynamic rigidity increases and, as a result, the quality and accuracy of machining on the machines increases.
