Description
The invention relates to instrumentation, in particular to devices for measuring parameters * of mechanical motion, and can be used as a primary transducer in inertial navigation systems, vibration and seismometry.
[1J .The closest to the proposed technical essence and the achieved result is a molecular electronic transducer containing two vertically arranged chambers interconnected and forming communicating vessels filled with half electrolyte, with 15 measuring electrodes placed in each chamber [1J.
The disadvantages of the known device are low sensitivity, as well as the inability to measure the vertical component of acceleration.
The purpose of the invention is the expansion of functionality and increase the sensitivity of the Converter.
This goal is achieved by the fact that in the molecular-electronic transducer of the motion parameters, contains. a casing, partially filled with electrolyte, measuring electrodes located vertically in the casing, pairwise at diametrically opposite ends of the casing, and a common πρφivetoelectrode, which form an oxidation-reduction system together with the electrolyte, introduced a cylinder closed by means of an elastic suspension in the casing with gap relative to its walls.
The drawing shows a diagram of the proposed device.
8.The converter consists of a housing 1 made of. non-conductive material and which is a sealed chamber 2. Inside the chamber vertically along the generatrix of the cylinder 45 are located measuring electrodes 3. Each electrode is equipped with a down conductor 4. The measuring electrodes are arranged in pairs at opposite ends of the diameter of the chamber. Pos-50 ice is half filled with electrolyte 5, in which cylinder b is placed, made of material inert to the electrolyte. The cylinder forms an annular gap filled with electrolyte with the chamber walls. In addition to the measuring electrodes 3, the device contains a counter electrode 7. The cylinder 6 is fixed in the housing 1 by means of an elastic suspension 8.
The proposed device operates as follows.
In the presence of a vertical component 5 of acceleration, cylinder b is shifted to the side opposite to the direction of acceleration (either sinks or rises). This changes the position of the level of electrolyte 5 in the annular gap. The change in the height of the electrolyte level in the annular gap is directly proportional to the magnitude of the measured effect (the vertical component of acceleration). Changing the height of the electrolyte level in the gap changes the area of the measuring electrodes 3, which is washed by the electrolyte. Since the working current of the measuring electrode 3 is proportional to the area washed by the electrolyte 5, when the area changes, the working current of the electrode also changes. In order to register the horizontal component of acceleration, an even number of measuring electrodes is used, arranged in pairs at opposite ends of the b diameter of the cylinder. If acceleration acts along the diameter, then the measuring electrode located in the direction of the acceleration acts, the electrolyte level decreases, while the opposite electrode increases, while the change in the level difference is the same for these electrodes. Changing the differences in electrolyte levels entails a corresponding change in the working currents of the electrodes. To measure the full acceleration vector in the horizontal plane, several pairs of measuring electrodes are used.
The increase in sensitivity is achieved through the use of a cylinder located on an elastic suspension, as well as through a communicating vessel, in which the ratio of the cross-sectional area of a wide elbow (cylinder 6) to the cross-sectional area of a narrow elbow (clearance) is large enough.
Thus, the use of a cylinder mounted on an elastic suspension, which forms a gap half-filled with electrolyte with the chamber walls, leads to an increase in the sensitivity of the transducer, as well as to the expansion of its functionality due to the measurement of the full acceleration vector.
