The invention relates to a magnetic technique and can be used to measure the ferritic component of two-phase steel in weld layers on a ferromagnetic base and also to measure the thickness of galvanic nickel coatings on a non-ferrous base in a wide range. A device for determining the content of ferrite in steel, containing a permanent magnet suspended at the end of an elastic rod, is known. A measure of the amount of ferrite is the amount of deflection of the rod measured by strain gauges at the time of the magnet detachment from the surface of the controlled product, ij. The drawback of the device is the low accuracy of measuring the amount of ferrite in thin deposited layers due to the influence of the ferromagnetic basis of the product. The closest technical solution is a phase meter, which contains a balanced lever with a permanent magnet, a coil spring and a frame placed in a magnetic field. When a gradually increasing direct current is passed through the frame winding, a mechanical moment arises, which tends to tear off the permanent magnet fixed at the end of the hook from the product. The magnitude of the pull-off current is proportional to the magnet force of the magnet and, therefore, depends on the content of the magnetic phase in the metal under study 2. Because the magnet design does not allow for adjusting the depth of the magnetized layer, the ferromagnetic basis affects the instrument's measurements therefore, the sensitivity and especially the accuracy of measurements in thin directional layers are reduced and the field of application of the known device is limited. The purpose of the invention is to improve the measurement accuracy. The goal is achieved by the fact that in a device for measuring the thickness of magnetic surface layers, the soda is: a neighing lever with a counterbalanced counterweight with a permanent magnet and a spiral spring, the permanent magnet is filled with two parts mounted coaxially one above the other at an adjustable distance, with the lower part the magnet is made in the form of a spherical segment, the top is in the form of a rod, and the magnetization vectors of the parts of the nocToJFiH magnet are directed collinearly. In FIG. Figures 1 and 2 show the structure of a device for measuring the thickness of a magnetic surface layer with opposite and identical directions of magnetization of parts of a magnet. The device contains a lever 1, a permanent magnet, made of two parts - the top 2 parts and the bottom 3 parts, the counterweight 4, the coil spring 5, the indicator arrow 6 and the scale 7. The top 2 and bottom 3 parts of the permanent magnet are set coaxially one, above another at an adjustable distance, with the lower -3 part of the magnet made in the form of a spherical segment, and the upper part 2 in the form of a rod. Parts 2 and 3 of the magnet must be made of a material with sufficient coercive force so that when the parts of the magnet come together, their mutual magnetization reversal does not occur. This condition is satisfied, for example, by intermetaplic cobalt compounds with rare-earth metals or platinum-cobalt alloys having a coercive force of the order of several thousand h-JJJT-. The permanent magnet is rigidly fixed on the lever 1, which is balanced by the counterweight 4. The spiral spring 5 is fastened with the external end to the arm of the lever 1, on which the permanent magnet is fixed, and the inner magnet is mounted to the axis that can be rotated. The indicator is mounted on the same axis on the arrow 6, the scale 7 is placed on the body. The device works as follows. When determining the amount of ferritic phase in the weld metal, the permanent magnet of the device placed on the surface of the product attracts the product with a force proportional to the amount of ferrite in the weld weld. The twisting of the inner end of the coil spring 5 leads to a gradual increase in the torque acting on the lever 1 and tends to: the state tear the lower 3 part of the permanent magnet from the product. As the axis is rotated, the indicator arrow 6 moves along the scale. 7 and at the moment of equality of the forces of attraction and detachment by the angle of twist of the inner end of the coil spring 5, by counting the readings on a scale of 7, the amount of Ferrite in the directional layer is determined. Moreover, if the bottom 3 and top 2 parts of the magnet are magnetized oppositely (Fig. 1), the magnetic field lines will be concentrated near the surface, and the field of the magnet does not penetrate into the product to a greater depth. The approximation of the lower 3 and upper 2 parts of the magnet reduces the depth of the magnetized layer, which eliminates the influence of the magnetic base when controlling the ferrite in thin weld layers. At the same time, the field of the lower 3 parts of the magnet near the surface remains rather large, therefore the influence of the demagnetizing factor of individual ferrite particles on the instrument readings is insignificant, which makes it possible to free from measurement errors due to the different structure of the particles of the surface layers. If the controlled layer 1 is sufficiently thick, then, with the aim of reducing the dispersion of the instrument readings at different points on the surface and averaging the measurement result over the largest possible sample volume, the vectors of the magnetized upper 2 and lower 3 parts of the magnet are oriented in one direction (Fig. 2 ). In this case, the magnetic field will penetrate into the product to a greater depth and the properties of the deeper layers of the product will affect the depth of the instrument. This configuration of the directions of magnetization of the upper 2 and lower 3 parts of the magnet can be used to measure the thickness of thick nickel-plating nickel platings on a nonmagnetic basis. By varying the distance between the upper 2 and lower 3 parts of the magnet, it is possible to change the depth of the magnetized layer and, consequently, the sensitivity and accuracy of measurements. Thus, the use of a new, permanent magnet design in the proposed device, which allows to control the direction of magnetization of individual parts of the magnet and the distance between these parts, has allowed to expand the field of application, to increase the sensitivity and accuracy of measurements.
