The invention relates to measuring technology and relates to methods for controlling internal defects of dielectric materials, such as wood, during the drying process. The known method of controlling dielectric materials in the process of drying. wherein the shrinkage is determined by the width of the non-board Cl. The disadvantage of this method is that the monotonous nature of the shrinkage does not allow to determine the sign of the increment of the magnitude of the stresses. There is also known a method that includes determining the magnitude of internal stresses and the sign of its increment by measuring shrinkage in the central and surface zones of sample 2. The disadvantage of this method is the significant temperature error of measurement results, the dependence of the results on the degree of contact of the sensor with the sample. The purpose of the invention is to improve accuracy. This goal is achieved by the fact that, according to the method of controlling dielectric materials in the drying process, including determining the magnitude of internal stresses and the sign of its increment, the number of pulses of electromagnetic radiation of the dielectric material, which is judged by the magnitude of internal stresses, is fixed. Thereby, the sign of its increment is determined at the moments when the first derivative of the number of pulses. time is zero. 1 shows a block diagram of a device for implementing the method; figure 2 - the dependence of the first derivative of the number of pulses in time; Fig. 3 shows the dependence of the magnitude of the internal stresses on the drying time. A device implementing the method comprises an antenna 1 in the form of, for example, a metal sheet. Connected to matching unit 2, the output of which is connected to amplifier 3, the output of which is connected through converter 4 to recorder 5. The method is carried out as follows. . Antenna 1 is placed at a distance of 10-30 cm from the surface of the sample (not shown) and the drying process begins. Electromagnetic radiation pulses generated by the sample are amplified by amplifier 3 and, after being converted by converter 4, fixed by the recorder 5.. In particular, for wood, the maximum energy of the generated electromagnetically located signal is within Hz, therefore, it is advisable to carry out the registration of sig nals of signals in the cmc range. At the very beginning of the process, when the moisture of the board has not yet passed the hygroscopicity limit, shrinkage is not observed and there is no voltage in the short section O - t (Fig. 3). Further, at the site t, - t, the humidity of the drying surface soy drops below the hygroscopic limit and continues to decrease. A difference in humidity will occur and tensile stresses will occur, which will reach the maximum value at the point tg. With hard drying conditions, these stresses may exceed the tensile strength of wood, which leads to the appearance of cracks. In this area of drying with an increase in tensile stresses, the rate of change of the number of electromagnetic pulses increases (Fig. 2), as the stresses approach the tensile strength of wood, the rate of change is. Neither the number of electromagnetic pulses will decrease, and when the tensile strength is reached, the rate of change. The number of electromagnetic pulses (the derivative of the number of pulses over time, and is not zero. From the moment corresponding to the point tg, the humidity of the inner zone of the board goes beyond the hygroscopicity limit. The humidity drop and internal voltages decrease. By the time that corresponds to the corresponding point, the total resulting voltage will disappear The change in the sign of the increment of the magnitude of internal stresses occurs in the section t2 - t, which indicates its decline. The number of pulses of electromagnetic radiation characterizes the magnitude of the internal stresses. As the drying process develops, the total number of registered electromagnetic pulses increases, which allows determining the magnitude of internal stresses at different stages of wood drying. Knowing the sign of the increment of internal stresses increases the drying process the quality of the materials being dried.: The accuracy of the control increases, since the number of electromagnetic pulses and the rate of their change are due to the appearance of internal stresses The values arising in the dielectric g material during the drying process are subject to the law of these stresses and do not depend on the parameters of the measuring apparatus.
