Na zaistenie správnej funkcie vysokootáčkového ložiska, najmä vysokootáčkového ložiska spriadacieho rotora bezvretenového dopriadacieho stroja, je nevyhnutné jeho dokonalé mazanie. To je zabezpečené náplňou kvalitného plastického mazadla, ktoré je pre otáčky väčšie ako 60 000 min.'1 v pravidelných intervaloch oživované malým, experimentálne zisteným, množstvom základného oleja použitého mazadla.
