Páry nôh sušiaka na bielizeň sú pritom nožničkovej konštrukcie, pričom horné konce párov nôh sú vybavené hlavicami, ktoré majú drážky v tvare U a do ktorých môže byť zasadená závesná mreža. Po vysunutí závesnej mreže z jedného páru nôh sa môže sušiak na bielizeň zložiť, pričom nevysunutý pár nôh zostáva kĺbovo spojený so závesnou mrežou.
