The invention concerns a laundry drier (1) comprising legs (2, 3, 4, 5) and a suspension device (6) which is articulated at the upper ends of the legs (2, 3, 4, 5) and can be protected by a cover (24) which can be wound up and unwound with a winder device. The device (23) for unwinding and winding up the cover (24) forms part of the suspension device (6) or is disposed therein.
