Pri známom stenovom vykurovaní tohto druhu sú tehly vybavené tak na svojej hornej, ako aj na svojej spodnej strane stredovou pozdĺžnou drážkou, do ktorej je vložený rúrkový tepelný vodič tak, žc pôsobí ako zvláštne pero a obidve nad sebou ležiace tehly navzájom spojuje.
