Abstract

Wire assemblies are produced by preparing the wire in the first section (11) and producing wire assemblies in the second one (12). The wire assemblies are produced in the second section by transporting the wire assembly by a transporting device (23) from one side of the conveyor belt to the other, on a larger number of workplaces (15) for manual assembly located along the transporting device, featuring local wire sources (32) at some workplaces as well as by providing local connector sources (40) on some workplaces and joining some of the wires to some of the connectors at another ones by mounting wires into connectors of the wire assembly (8). The local wire sources at some workplaces are provided by transportation from the first section to the workplaces. The transporting device is operated successively and temporarily, the working operations at different workplaces are initially determined in such a way that their time exactly corresponds to the completion time. The prepared wire bundles are stored in channel tablets (20) and can be transported and held on moving trolleys. The U-shape channel tablets (20) can be positioned horizontally or vertically.
