Abstract

Pretočna hidroturbina z cilindričnoparaboličnim rotorjem z utori (v nadaljevanju teksta: hidroturbina) je naprava katera je namenjena pretvarjanju hidropotencijalne energije delovnega fluida (najbolj pogosto voda) v mehansko delo v obliki navora na rotorju hidroturbine. Glavna tehnična značilnost hidroturbine je rotor (R) v obliki cilindra kateremu je višina parabolična krivulja (P) tako da rotor izgleda kot cilinder zožen na sredini (sliki 1a) in 1 b)) ki je nameščen v statorju (S) (sliki 1 c) in 1d)) nanačin da je zračnost med rotorjem in statorjem kar tolika da omogoča rotorju da se nemoteno obrača (sliki 2a) in 2b)). Vzdolž rotorja so vrezani utori (U) tudi v obliki krivulje na način da utori ne grejo vzporedno z višino cilindra rotorja v obliki parabole (P), kar omogoča da voda teče navzdol proti zoženem središnjem delu rotorja kjer odteka ven in pri tem odda svojo gibalno količino rotorju tako da hidroturbina lahko ustvari navor tudi z majhnimi in neenakomernimi pretoki kar je značilen tehničniproblem ki ga rešuje hidroturbina. Če se na gred rotorja hidroturbine pritrdi generator, lahko se tista uporablja za proizvodnjo električne energije. Med delovanjem hidroturbina ne vpliva škodljivo na okolico in ne oddaja nobenih stranskih produktov tako da je dejansko tista okolju prijazen in obnovljiv vir energije.
