Abstract

The subject of the invention is a programmable timer (1) of a household gas burner (3), which is aimed at being integrated into a gas stove where a protection mechanism against leaking of gas upon open valve and no flame in the form of a thermocouple element (6) automatically operating a valve (2) is provided. The programmable timer (1) is connected in series to the circuit (4) which consists of a thermocouple element (6) and a coil (5) of the burner (3) valve (2). Typical of this programmable timer (1) according to the invention is that it is located outside the enclosure of the stove (7) preferably in a two-part control knob (8) of the household appliance in such a way that the conductor (11) to the valve (2) runs through the opening (12) in the enclosure (7) of the household appliance or at a distance between the valve (2) axis (13) and the openings (14 and 14a) provided for it.
