Abstract
Description
Predmet izuma je jadralni kajak v obliki katamarana z zložljivim jadrom, ki je namenjen potovanju po mirnih vodah (morje, jezera) s pomočjo veslanja ter s pomočjo jadra.The object of the invention is a sailing kayak in the shape of a catamaran with a collapsible sail, which is intended for sailing through calm waters (sea, lakes) by rowing and using a sail.
Tehnični problem, ki ga rešuje izum, je konstrukcija kajaka in zložljivega jadra, ki združuje naslednje lastnosti: visoka hitrost veslanja, majhna masa, visoka stabilnost plovila in zložljivost jadra. Jadro mora biti enostavno postavljivo/zložljivo med samo plovbo in zloženo ne sme ovirati veslanja, postavitev in zložitev pa mora biti mogoča iz kokpita plovila.A technical problem solved by the invention is the construction of a kayak and a folding sail that combines the following features: high rowing speed, low weight, high vessel stability and sail foldability. The sail must be easily retractable / foldable during the voyage itself and must not be obstructed by rowing, and the positioning and folding must be possible from the cockpit of the vessel.

Iz pregleda obstoječih patentov, ter tudi iz pregleda ponudbe svetovnih proizvajalcev jadralnih kajakov oz. potovalnih kajakov, opremljenih s pomožnim jadrom, je razvidno, da je opisani tehnični problem še slabo rešen, saj obstoječe rešitve ne zmorejo zadovoljiti vseh navedenih pogojev tehničnega problema: zmožnosti hitrega veslanja, majhne mase, visoke stabilnosti plovila, opremljenosti z jadrom, ter postavljivosti/zložljivosti jadra med plovbo iz kokpita plovila.These patents solve the problem of kayak stability, sail use, and sail foldability in various ways. From the review of existing patents, as well as from the review of the offer of global manufacturers of sailing kayaks and it is evident that the described technical problem is still poorly solved, since the existing solutions cannot satisfy all the stated conditions of the technical problem: ability to speed rowing, low weight, high stability of the vessel, equipment with sail, and of sail folding while sailing from the cockpit of a vessel.
Po izumu je problem rešen s konstrukcijo kajaka oblike katamarana, ki se sestoji iz glavnega trupa in stranskega pomožnega trupa, ter z inovativno konstrukcijo zložljivega jadra s tronogim jamborjem. Katamaranska konstrukcija kajaka omogoča zaradi skupne širine visoko stabilnost plovila, hkrati pa sta zato lahko kajak in stranski trup zelo ozka in s tem izredno hitra. Prednja povezovalna prečka med kajakom in stranskim trupom služi tudi kot pritrdišče jamborja, ki je tako nameščen sredi katamarana med obema trupoma. To plovilu omogoča dobro stabilnost med jadranjem, in sicer v obeh smereh glede na veter (veter z leve ali z desne strani), hkrati pa zloženo jadro v neaktivnem stanju nudi dovolj prostora za neovirano veslanje. Stabilna tronoga konstrukcija jamborja omogoča postavitev jamborja brez dodatnih napenjalnih vrvi, postavitev in zložitev jadra pa je mogoča iz kokpita plovila med samo plovbo.According to the invention, the problem is solved by the construction of a catamaran shaped kayak consisting of a main hull and a lateral auxiliary hull, and an innovative construction of a folding sail with a tripod mast. The catamaran design of the kayak allows for high stability of the vessel due to the overall width, and at the same time the kayak and the side hull can be very narrow and therefore extremely fast. The front connecting bar between the kayak and the side hull also serves as the mast anchorage, which is thus positioned in the middle of the catamaran between the two hulls. This gives the boat good stability while sailing in both wind directions (left or right winds), while at the same time folding sail in idle condition provides ample space for unimpeded rowing. The rigid mast construction of the mast allows the mast to be erected without additional tensioning ropes, and the sail can be installed and folded from the cockpit of the vessel during navigation.

Jadralni kajak je sestavljen iz glavnega trupa 1, ter manjšega stranskega trupa 2. Trupa sta med seboj povezana s prednjo 3 in zadnjo prečko 4 in tako skupaj tvorita negibljivo enoto. Glavni trup ima na zadnjem delu tudi krmilo v enaki izvedbi, kot je običajno pri tekmovalnih kajakih za mirne vode. Na prednji prečki je na mestu 5 pritrjen zložljivi tronogi jambor, ki služi kot nosilno ogrodje za jadro 9. Tronogi jambor je sestavljen iz treh palic, od teh je le ena 6 fiksno pritrjena na prednjo prečko 3, ostali dve 7 in 8 pa sta gibljivi in omogočata postavljanje in zlaganje jadra. Vse tri palice so spete na vrhu z gibljivim sklopom, ki omogoča premikanje prostih koncev palic v poljubnih smereh.
