Abstract
In order to achieve increased velocities or increased tow-rope pulls at the same engine power compared with the known nozzle propellers, in a nozzle propeller (100) for ships, in particular for inland navigation vessels and tugs, having a fin system and a fixed nozzle (10), wherein the propeller (100) is mounted with a propeller shaft (11) on a shaft bearing (13), the guide fins (14, 17, 18 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27) are disposed in such a manner that more guide fins (14, 17, 18 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27) are disposed on the propeller upturning side (28) of the nozzle propeller (100) than on the propeller downturning side (29) of the nozzle propeller (100) and/or wherein the guide fins (14, 17, 18 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27) are disposed in such a manner than said guide fins form an asymmetric fin system.
