Abstract
VALVE MECHANISM A flow rate adjusting valve 10 includes: a casing 10 including an inlet 12, an outlet 13, and a channel 14 connecting the inlet 12 and the outlet 13 to each other; a valve port 26 disposed in the channel 14; and a valve body 32d that is disposed upstream of the valve port 5 26 and moves forward and backward relative to the valve port 26 to adjust an opening degree of an upstream opening 26a of the valve port 26. The valve port 26 includes a narrowing portion 26c whose opening diameter is smaller than that of the upstream opening 26a, and an enlarging portion 26d continuous to a downstream side of the narrowing portion 26c and having an opening diameter of the narrowing portion 26c. When the upstream opening 26a 10 is at a predetermined opening degree, an area of the valve port 26 through which a fluid passes is at minimum at the narrowing portion 26c. FIG. 4
