Abstract
CONVEYING APPARATUS AND CONVEYING METHOD A conveying apparatus 1 includes: an upstream roll 20 on which a lead frame base LF is wound; a downstream roll 30 positioned on a downstream side of the upstream roll 20 and on which the lead frame base LF is wound; a winding device 50 positioned on a downstream side of the downstream roll 30 in a conveyance route TR and configured to wind the lead frame base LF; a speed control motor 21 configured to rotate the upstream roll 20 at a constant speed to move the lead frame base LF wound on the upstream roll 20 and the downstream roll 30 to a downstream side of the conveyance route TR; and a torque control motor 31 configured to control torque of the downstream roll 30 to apply constant tension to the lead frame base LF wound on the downstream roll 30.
