Abstract

The invention relates to a method and an apparatus (4) for treatign bark (2) adjacent its feeding from an apparatus for separating bark (2) from wood and to a screening apparatus (3) for bark. In connection with the infeed of the bark into the screening apparatus, it is subjected to an inpact force in at least one direction generally transversal to an infeed direction (A) of the bark (2) into the bark screening apparatus.
