Abstract

A bearing device for mounting a sliding calliper (6 Fig.1) of a disk brake for commercial vehicles on a brake anchor plate (2), comprises a guide rod (4), 5 slidably mounted in an elastomer guide bushing(s) (10, 11) or 12 of a guide bearing (7,8). To improve the operational accuracy of the bearing device of the sliding calliper and to reduce its sensitivity to dirt and water, at least one helical groove 16 whose axis extends in the longitudinal direction of the guide bearing is constructed in the outer surface of the guide rod and/or in the inner surface of the guide bushing(s). In this way, an exact radial and axial guidance of the guide rod in the guide bushing(s) is achieved. Further sealing, in particular by way of bellows, is not necessary because the groove allows trapped dirt to be worked out.
