Abstract

When the temperature of the water leaving the solar panel is greater than the temperature of the water entering it, solar energy is transferred to the house via a second pipe network and a heat exchanger (9) in a third pipe network. If the reverse is the case the first and second pipe networks are connected to the evaporator side of a heat pump. When no heat needs to be supplied to the house the heat pump is deactivated and the first and second pipe networks are linked together to enable solar energy to be stored in the soil. A first pipe network (1) linked to a loop (2) for extracting heat from rocks is used to receive solar energy collected by a second pipe network (2) linked to a solar panel (4). The second pipe network can be coupled to the evaporator side (6a) of a heat pump (6), the condenser side (6b) of which is linked by a third pipe network (3) to the heat-processing unit in the house.
