Abstract

A nuclear reactor arrangement includes a casing (1) for the reactor with a first region (2) and a second region (3) filled with coolant (12), a reactor tank (8) housing a reactor core (9) and located in the first reactor region, and at least one heat exchanger (18) located in the second reactor region for cooling it. Coolant flows unaided around a circulation cycle (17) formed by a combination of the heat exchanger with a cooling device (20, 24, 29). A heat exchanger (20, 29) present in the cooling device is cooled by air in the surrounding atmosphere.
