Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of cooling by disposing a heat exchanger using the secondary cooling water of a cooler as a refrigerant and a heat exchanger for preparatory cooling employing the primary cooling water of the cooler as a refrigerant at the preceding stage of said heat exchanger in a transport passage in which a laser gas is circulated. CONSTITUTION:In the lateral direction exciting gas circulation type laser device cooling the laser gas, temperature thereof is elevated through laser exciting discharge, the preparatory heat exchanger 10b for preparatorily cooling the laser gas is arranged to the preceding stage of the heat exchanger 10a of the fluid passage of the duct 1 of the laser gas 2. The preparatory heat exchanger 10b uses the primary cooling water 13a, 13b of the cooler 12 as the refrigerant, and the gas is cooled up to 30 deg.C in the exchanger 10b, and the gas is cooled up to 0 deg.C of the temperature of the secondary cooling water 11 in the heat exchanger 10a. Accordingly, the efficiency of cooling of the laser gas can be improved.
