Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement of a foot stool for an armchair, said foot stool (2) being movable between a storing position under the armchair (1) and a use position in front of the armchair (1). The foot stool (2) is swingably attached to the front portion of the armchair (1) by means of at least two supporting arms (3-6) swingably connected to the foot stool (2) and to the armchair (1) and arranged so that they can be locked relatively to each other, at least in the use position of the foot stool (2).
