Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a non-return valve for directing an airflow in a predetermined direction through the valve, especially an exhaust air valve (2) designed for mounting at an available ventilation grid (1), comprising a cap (3) presenting a bulge (6) provided with an essentially vertical wall (7) provided with a large number of vent passages (8) for the air and on the inside at least one foil flap (9) attached with its upper edge to the wall and being sufficiently thin and easily movable for being carried along with a slight air draught in the direction opposite the intended transmitting direction to sealingly bear against the wall (7) with the vent passages (8). The valve is especially intended for being hooked by means of hooking means (12, 13, 14) to an available ventilation grid (1).
