Abstract
Aluminium alloy for brazed products with high strength and corrosion resistance contains 0.5-1 % silicon, 0.3-0.5 % magnesium, 0.05-3 % titanium, 0.2-0.5 % copper, etc. Also claimed are (i) plated materials for brazed products comprising a core made from the above alloy and an outer layer with a lower melting point than the core and (ii) the preparation of these products by homogenising the cast brazed alloy for more than 10 hours at a temperature greater than 600 deg C, then hot and cold rolling the material and then tempering the rolled material.
