Abstract

The present invention relates to a semiautomatic setting tool formed by an upper gripper 26 and lower gripper 27 actuated by one of their ends by means of forks 30 which, in turn, receive the movement of a pneumatic cylinder 22 which forces the ends of the grippers to move toward one another trapping between said ends the stripped cable which the corresponding operator places so that the free end on the same side abuts against the corresponding position limiter. There follows a movement from right to left also by means of the corresponding pneumatic cylinder which situates the cable, duly held by the ends of the grippers, in the vicinity of the plate of the press and above the corresponding terminal which is trapped and stamped by the corresponding actuating support of a conventional press. <IMAGE>
