Abstract

The welded stainless steel carcase, on four steerable wheels (10), has a shelved warming cupboard (1), which, opt., can undertake cooking, and, opt., is humidified to prevent stored food drying out. The adjoining compartment (2) is refrigerated, but may also operate as a warming cupboard. The end compartment (4) contains all necessary control, refrigeration and connection components; above it is a frozen food container (3). Shallow basins (7) in the top surface form bain-maries into which food can be transferred from the warming cupboard. U-shaped frames (9), retracted into the top section when not required - e.g. in transit - are extended at each end to receive the bain-marie lids (8), which then form trays (6) for dishes and left-overs.
