Abstract

Fire-fighting foaming agent is mixed with water in a device comprising a double venturi 12 with two separate supply lines 5, 10 for the additive, both lines being provided with a restriction point 6, 11. By means of a spring-loaded butterfly valve 20, either the inner 18 or the inner and the outer 13 venturi are opened as a function of the flow rate. A non-return valve 7 in conjunction with a regulator 3 regulates either the one or both foaming agent supply lines 5, 10 as a function of the water flow rate. <IMAGE>
