Abstract
Returned air is delivered to the top part of the inlet (1) for returned air and/or ambient air, and ambient air to the bottom part. Thus in the exchanger (24) the warm returned air flows above the colder ambient air, while the stale air current first crosses the returned air current. The stale, returned and/or ambient air currents can be arranged to flow obliquely downwards through the exchanger. ADVANTAGE - Gives virtually constant temperature differences between currents with consequent greater efficiency.
