Abstract

Machine for dewatering fibre suspensions, especially recycled paper pulp - contains an inlet (12) for the suspension, rotatable drum (1) with a perforated mantle (4) that allows water to flow into the centre of the drum whilst retaining the fibres (37) on the surface, outlet for water from the centre of the drum, and device (15) for removing fibre web on drum surface. Devices (17, 18) are provided for creating variable pressure inside the drum.
