Abstract
The cable end is inserted in the encapsulant via a field controlling component (11,12) and fixed against a coupling flange (5). The field controlling component is of rubber or similar elastic material, and has a ring-shaped track (17) facing towards the flange. This track is at least mostly filled with a number of ring segments (18) locating against the flange and which correspond to the ring-shape track (17) geometry. - The ring segments (18) are made of a rigid polymer material. The flange (5) has a collaring arrangement (14) with a cylindrical cover surface around the cable insertion aperture (4), against which the field controlling component (11,12) is fixed in a gastight manner with the aid of a clamp device (15). The collar formation end part comprises a ring-shaped extension (16) directed radially towards the cable, against which the ring segments locate (18).
