Abstract

The first pipe (4) on the mains side is connected to the second pipe (3) on the boiler side by a straight pipe section (8) which has a cylindrical inner face with opposite side openings (9,10) of which the first opening (9) connects with the first pipe (2) on the boiler side and the second opening (10) with the second pipe (5) on the mains side. The pipe section (8) extends up to a closable fitting opening between the two connecting pipes with its cylindrical inner face remaining constant in diameter. When manufacturing the mixer cock the setting valve (6) is inserted through the fitting opening (7) and the cylindrical inner face of the pipe is finished by a rotary tool also inserted through this opening. USE/ADVANTAGE - Easy installation and only small drive forces are required to overcome friction when operating setting valve.
