Abstract

Burner arrangement for solid fuels, such as wood chips, briquettes, pellets and grain, comprising a combustion chamber 1 intended to be positioned in a heating boiler and, connected to the combustion chamber, a feed arrangement 3 for the solid fuel, which arrangement is intended to be positioned outside the heating boiler. Also included are means 9-12 for supplying combustion air to the fuel in the combustion chamber. The combustion chamber 1 is in the form of an elongate, closed box with a feed opening 2 for the fuel, connected to the feed arrangement 3, at its one end and, arranged in the bottom next to the other end of the box, an opening 16 for downwardly directed discharge of the hot combustion gases and ash. These will then, for heat emission, sweep around in the lower part of the heating boiler before they pass out through the flue duct. <IMAGE>
