Abstract

Arrangement in a water bed foundation, wherein the water bed mattress is supported by a foundation frame (1) and frame members (3a-3d) extending along the circumference of said foundation frame (1), for thereby being attached in relation to said bed foundation (1) by the weight of the water mattress, there being simultaneously achieved a link function between said bed foundation (1) and said frame members (3a-3d). For the purpose of providing a channel (10) which extends around said bed foundation (1), and which is also accessible even if the water mattress is located on said bed foundation (1), there is according to the present invention suggested that the soft portion (4) of each frame member (3a-3d) comprises a supporting means (5) provided substantially along the bottom of the upper, softer portion (4), which together with said supporting means (5) is partly or completely embraced by a reinforcement canvas (6), that the reinforcement canvas (6) along substantially an inner edge thereof is provided with an extension (6b) which may constitute fixing means for said frame members (3a-3d), and that said frame members (3a-3d) rest on at least one bed foundation list (9a, 9b) from which the upper frame portion (4) can be lifted for allowing access to the interior thereof.
