Abstract
A wheel-pair steering arrangement in which each of the wheels can be pivoted or swung so as to follow a respective circular line which has a common centre on the same circular line (22), includes a generally vertical pivot axle (3, 4) for respective wheels, a tie bar (8) which connects the wheels through the intermediary of an intermediate pivot member (12, 15) mounted on respective pivot axles (3, 4), and a rigid arm (7) pivotally mounted on a pivot axle. The rigid arm is connected to the tie bar (8) by means of a pivot (9). Respective intermediate pivot members are comprised of a member (12) which is rigidly mounted on respective pivot axles (3, 4) and an intermediate arm (15) which is pivotally mounted to the tie bar (8) and also to the aforesaid member. Stop means (13, 14, 18) are provided for restricting pivotal movement of the intermediate arm (15), between an angled position in which it forms an acute angle in relation to the tie bar (8) and a position in which it lies in a straight line with the tie bar (8).
