Abstract

The burner is for use when making brazed joints. The burner uses gas which is stored under pressure in liquefied form in a bottle attached to the burner. The burner (1) has a gas supply pipe (4) which is fitted with a pressure intensifier (3) which is connected to a device (2) which gasifies the liquid gas. The gasifying device (2) consists of a cylindrical block fitted in the bore of the burner tube. This block (2) has an axial inlet (9) at one end and an outlet nozzle (11) at the other end. The inlet (9) and nozzle (11) are connected to each other by radial holes and a helical groove (10). The liquefied gas is heated as it flows through the groove (10) by heat conducted from the burner (1). USE - Blow lamp using liquefied gas.
