Abstract

The invention relates to a ventilation apparatus which functions according to the principle of regenerative heat absorption. Located in each of two supply and removal ducts positioned close to one another are a fan 2 and a heat absorption cell element 3. The fans 2 have different directions of rotation, so that one duct functions as a removal duct and the other as a supply duct. By reversing the directions of rotation of the fans, the supply duct can be changed into the removal duct and the removal duct can be changed into the supply duct. The outgoing air heats the cells 3 and the incoming air absorbs heat by cooling the cells 3. The supply and removal ducts 1 each have a connection to a horizontally arranged distribution duct 6 via their own distribution element 4. The distribution chamber 5 is separated from the distribution duct 6 by a damper 7 which allows flow from the ventilated space to the distribution chamber 5. By means of this arrangement, an essentially constant blowing-in rate is achieved through the openings 9 for blowing in incoming air. The apparatus is suitable in particular for ventilation of stall buildings and for regulating both humidity and temperature. <IMAGE>
