Abstract

The invention relates to a pulsatory burner which is mounted in the water space (11) of a hot water boiler (10) and comprises a combustion chamber (13) with a neck (17) forming an air inlet, a non return valve (18) controlling the air flow through the air inlet to the combustion chamber, and a fuel nozzle (26) which opens coaxially in the air inlet. According to the invention a sleeve (34) is located in the neck (17) in the area of an outlet for hot water from the water space (11), said outlet being provided around the neck for the cooling thereof, said sleeve being coaxial with the neck and defining in relation to the inner surfaces of the neck a circumferential gap (36) for the passage of the air.
