Abstract

Process for washing chemomechanical or mechanical woodpulp consisting of lignocellulose-containing material which has been defibred at a temperature of 120-175 DEGREE C. The pulp is transferred directly from the defibring to a mixing vessel 4, without the temperature being lowered, with the pulp then being diluted to a concentration of 4- 10%. After that, the pulp is dewatered in a dewatering press 12, with the temperature being maintained, to a concentration of 28-50%. <IMAGE>
