Abstract
The present invention relates to a catheter, a manipulator and a combination thereof. In the wall (7) of the catheter a pull line (8) is slideably mounted. The proximal end of the pull line is fastened in an inner spindle (14) of a manipulator and the distal end of the pull line is fastened at an X-ray marker in the distal end of the catheter (1). During axial movement of the setting means (11) of the manipulator this movement is transmitted to the distal end portion of the catheter, whereby a relatively large movement of the setting means (11) is shifted down to a smaller movement of the end portion of the catheter via the adjusting sleeve (15) and spindle (14) of the manipulator. The position set by the setting means (11) is irreversible and the catheter (1) shows twisting strength.
