Abstract

The invention concerns a method of arranging edgings as kerb-forming elements to demarcate roadway edges, pavements, footpaths and similar areas. The kerb element is in the form of an extruded hollow profile section (1, 1'), preferably made from aluminium. The section (1, 1') consists of a bottom portion (2), a front portion (3) and a top portion (4). Its back (5) is open. The bottom portion (2) is arranged to be secured to a support (6, 14, 17) and the hollow profile section (1, 1') is arranged to be filled with a fill (8) serving as ballast. <IMAGE>
