Abstract
In a device for extracting air charged with harmful substances from the surface region of immersion baths for the surface treatment of workpieces, in particular their galvanising, at least one extraction wall with an internally lying extraction duct being taken laterally along the immersion tank and the wall having inlet openings for the air to be extracted, the extraction of the air charged with harmful substances and the sealing off to the surrounding atmosphere of the extraction space existing above the bath surface are to be improved.
