Abstract

The invention relates to an arrangement in protecting frames for fixing a glazing panel of variable thickness, including an outer profile (1) to which an inner profile (2) is fixable to form a glazing rebate (4) such as to clamp a glazing panel, the portions of the profiles respectively consist of double legs (1', 2') integral with the respective profile. The inner profile has a width substantially corresponding to that of the outer profile and is fixable in mutual, variably spaced relationship to it by screws (5), and has in the area outside the rebate (4) at least one longitudinal flange (6, 7) integral with it and outstanding towards the outer profile (1) from its plane of extension, said flange being telescopically insertable for coaction with at least one longitudinal slot (8, 9) in the outer profile (1), said slot having insulating material for eliminating cold bridges in depth and achieving the best possible coefficient of passage for all rebate widths which can be provided with the aid of the screws (5).
