Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for point feeding of aluminium oxide to electrolytic cells for production of aluminium, which electrolytic cells are equipped with Soderberg anodes, and where aluminium oxide is fed to the electrolytic bath by means of at least one point feeder arranged in at least on recess on the anode casing. The present invention further relates to means for feeding of aluminium oxide to the above mentioned electrolytic cells where at least one point feeder is arranged in at least one recess on the anode casing. The present invention also relates to an anode casing for Soderberg anodes for electrollytic cells for production of aluminium, said anode casing which has a substantially rectangular cross-section, is equipped with at least one recess.
