Abstract

The invention comprises a pallet with a supporting wooden or plastic top portion and a bottom portion comprising mutually parallel supporting rails (20) attached thereto. The features characterizing the invention are that each supporting rail (20) comprises an upper and a lower metallic U-profile (22; 24), the legs of which are facing each other. Each supporting rail further comprises supporting posts (30) attached to the U-profiles and comprising metal plates bent to U-shape, the central portions of which extend between the U-profiles (22; 24) and the legs of which are attached to the legs of the U-profiles (22; 24). Furthermore, wooden blocks having a thickness that is bigger than the width of the legs of the upper U-profile (22) are provided between these legs in regions of the supporting rail intended to be lifted by lifting forks. Furthermore, the legs of the lower U-profile (24) are inwardly bent within the same regions.
