Abstract

The plug (7) in each case works in conjunction with a cover plate (8) with a through hole (13). When the plug shaft (9) is pushed through the hole and fitted into the socket (3), it is maintained by its head (10) in a position in which the plate simultaneously covers and prevents access to a number of sockets (3)from which plug covers have been removed. The plug shaft (9) is externally threaded (11) for engagement with the conventional inner threads of the socket. The hole in the cover plate has a dia. which is less than that of the tops of the plug shaft threads. This means that the shaft can be screwed through the hole and the cover plate is permanently connectable with the plug in an area (12) between the threads and the head.
