Abstract

The closing device, for the covers of electrical equipment housings, has a bolt (4) passing axially through the housing and into the base (1) and resting with its head (40) on the outside of the cover cap (3). The inner end of the bolt has a transverse pin (42) that rides on a spiral slope (13) in the base and eventually engages in lateral slots (14) that prevent its being screwed any further. The cover cap is elastic so that it deforms at its centre to allow the bolt's pin to engage and disengage the slots (for locking and unlocking).
