Abstract

After division in the prism, the light beams produced by the amplifier are transmitted in two identical pictures for projection by a transport system in the oculars of the binoculars. The beams produced by the light amplifier are projected over an infinite distance using a lens, the aperture of which is divided into two halves by dividing prisms, so that in each ocular the picture is produced. Two mirrors or prisms arranged in the radiation path from the night viewer are arranged movably, and function transparently. When the mirrors or prisms are disconnected e.g. turned so that they cover the lenses, the instrument functions as a normal prism binocular. With the mirrors or prisms connected, the pair of oculars receives two identical images, and the instrument functions as a bi-ocular electronic night binocular. (Provisional basic advised week 89/30).
