Abstract

The invention relates to a spacer 1 for arrangement between the edge portion of a thermopane 9 and the surrounding frame 10. The spacer 1 consists of an oblong, plate-shaped body, the width of which corresponds essentially to the width of the thermopane 9. In a direction at right angles to the upper or lower side of the body, at least one long side 7 of the spacer 1 has at least one locking pin member 8 which has an optional width in the longitudinal direction of the distance element 8 but a thickness which decreases in the direction towards its free end, ending in a knife shape or a pointed shape which makes it possible to fasten a glazing bead 11 for mounting a sealing strip 13, which can be inserted between the bead and the pane 9, at the same time as the bottom part 14 of the locking pin member 8, with its predetermined thickness, can create a distance for the positioning of the glazing bead 11 in relation to the pane 9 or for the positioning of the pane 9 relative to the surrounding frame 10. <IMAGE>
