Abstract

The invention relates to a transport belt for transporting, in particular, a hot product/hot products. The belt comprises at least two layers of a woven material, which are connected to each other. In order to extend the operational life of the transport belt, the bottom layer (1) of the belt is constructed from a mechanically resistant woven material. The surface layer (2) is constructed from a heat-resistant woven material. The material layers (1, 2) are sewn to one another with the aid of a mechanically resistant sewing thread (3, 4). <IMAGE>
